Job summary

CIMB in Sabah is seeking an experienced Sales professional to drive marketing, solicitation, and retention of business deposits at branches. The role emphasizes cross-selling loans, wealth management, deposits, and cards while expanding relationships with Business Deposits clients.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Business/Finance with 3+ years in financial services sales, excellent English and Bahasa Malaysia communication, and a willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with at least 3 years in Sales within financial services.
• Proven ability to write credit proposals in English.
• Strong knowledge of banking products and services and client engagement.
• Willing to travel as required.

• Drive the marketing, solicitation, and retention of business deposits at branches.

Job description

• Drive the marketing, solicitation, and retention of business deposits at branches, leveraging telemarketing and lead generation to target Small Medium Enterprise clients.
• Engage actively in cross-selling a range of the bank's products and services, including business loans, wealth management solutions, structured deposits, credit cards, and more.
• Contribute to dynamic marketing campaigns and activities to effectively promote our products and services.
• Maximize customer reach, product visibility, and operational efficiency to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Cultivate and nurture long-term business relationships with Business Deposits clients.
• Generate valuable leads and referrals for other sales teams or departments, expanding opportunities beyond the immediate scope.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong expertise in Sales within Financial Services (e.g., insurance, unit trust), preferably at the Senior Executive level
• Excellent communication skills in English and BM; additional language proficiency is a plus
• Proven ability to write compelling credit proposals in English
• In-depth knowledge of banking products and services, with strong interpersonal skills to engage across all levels
• Highly motivated, sales driven and willing to travel
