Job summary

Bitara Capital Sdn. Bhd. Malaysia is seeking a junior blockchain engineer to join our growing team.

You will assist in designing and developing blockchain protocols and dApps using Solidity, Go, or Rust, and collaborate with senior engineers on multi-chain infrastructure. You will participate in smart contract testing, security best practices, and wallet infrastructure projects including key management. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Foundational understanding of blockchain technology incl. distributed ledgers, consensus, cryptography.
• Familiarity with smart contract development, especially Solidity, and EVM-compatible chains.
• Basic programming skills in Go, Rust, Node.js/TypeScript, Java, or Python.
• Understanding of blockchain concepts like transactions, blocks, and network architecture.
• Willingness to learn new blockchain protocols, including multi-chain environments.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate technical concepts in English.
• Interest in Wallet Infrastructure, Custody, and Key Management in blockchain space.
• Exposure to On-Chain Security concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, and implementation of blockchain protocols and dApps using Solidity, Go, or Rust.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate and maintain blockchain infrastructure, including multi-chain solutions.
• Participate in development and testing of smart contracts with security best practices.
• Contribute to wallet infrastructure development, including key management and custody solutions.
• Support maintenance and optimization of blockchain nodes and network infrastructure.
• Engage in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting blockchain-related issues.
• Stay updated on emerging blockchain technologies and security vulnerabilities.
