Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a software developer based in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam, to design, code and test software applications and build new software solutions. You will troubleshoot and maintain existing systems, optimize SQL queries and collaborate across teams to meet project goals.

The role welcomes 1–3 years of programming experience or strong fresh graduates with solid skills, and requires a degree in Computer Science or IT. Salary will be aligned with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Proficient in JAVA, PHP, SQL, C++ & Python.
• Strong knowledge / experience in networking / electronics / programming.
• Experience with SQL/MySQL or other database systems.
• 1–3 years of programming experience preferred; fresh graduates with strong skills are welcome to apply.
• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Information Technology or related field).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Can work independently with minimum supervision.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
• Possess a valid driving license Class D.
• Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.
• Experienced candidates may be offered a higher salary of up to RM5,000.00

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test software applications & develop a new software.
• Troubleshoot, debug and maintain existing systems.
• Handle SQL queries and optimize database performance.
• Work with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation for internal use.
• Stay updated with new technologies and suggest improvements.
• Assist in all related operations with relevant network elements/subsystems and related softwares and support.
• Any and all others duties assigned from time to time from the management.
