Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced full-stack developer to design, build, and deploy scalable applications using React, Next.js, Vue, and TypeScript on the frontend, with Go, Java, Node.js, or Python on the backend.

You will work within a 20-person multidisciplinary team, implementing microservices, APIs (REST, WebSocket, gRPC, GraphQL), and data stores such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis, while ensuring quality through CI/CD on AWS or GCP.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Expertise in front-end development using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue.js) with TypeScript.
• Solid back-end experience with Go, Java, Node.js, or Python and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS for asynchronous communication.
• APIs designed with REST, WebSocket, gRPC, GraphQL; OpenAPI and Protobuf standards.
• PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis; data modeling and optimization.
• Docker and Kubernetes for scalable deployments.
• CI/CD pipelines; AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
• Web3 and blockchain knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent English communication; Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin advantageous.
• Able to collaborate in a fast-paced 20-person multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable full-stack apps with React/Next.js/Vue and Go/Java/Python.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using microservices and Kafka/RabbitMQ/NATS.
• Implement data storage with PostgreSQL/MySQL/Redis, ensuring integrity and performance.
• Develop Web3/blockchain functionalities and stay updated with industry trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship features from conception to deployment.
• Write clean, well-documented code and conduct thorough reviews.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes on AWS or GCP.
• Troubleshoot, optimize performance, and upgrade existing systems.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term strategy.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
