Job summary

In-Situ Maintenance Services is seeking a Technician to support the Sales team in service-related activities, including product repairs, technical support, and documentation. The role involves on-site and in-house service execution to ensure high-quality maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of mechanical seals related equipment.

The candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, install and uninstall mechanical seals at customer sites, coordinate projects, and document all work

Qualifications

• Candidate must have technical/engineering background.
• Able to document maintenance work and prepare reports.
• Willing to travel and work in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Carry out installation and uninstallation of mechanical seals at customer sites.
• Coordinate projects and report results to Supervisor/HOD.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure on-site setup and testing are done as scheduled.
• Document all maintenance and repair work with detailed records.

To support the Sales team in all service-related activities, including product repairs, technical support, and documentation. The role involves both on site and in-house service execution to ensure high-quality maintenance, repair and refurbishment of mechanical seals related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• To perform duties under the Technician role and complete tasks assigned by Supervisor.
• To carry out preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on machines, equipment. and utilities.
• Perform installation an uninstallation of mechanical seals at customer sites.
• Coordinate projects and communicate project results upon completion.
• Carry out housekeeping , testing, data collection, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Perform and maintain good housekeeping of his work area for a clean & tidy workplace.
• Ensuring on-site set up , installation, test task, maintenance , fabrication, repairing and servicing of machines and or equipment are done according to schedule or when needed.
• Reporting to the Supervisor and / or HOD for any problems encountered.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Company and / or departmental superior.
• Documenting all maintenance and repair work carrried out , and maintaining detailed records.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Min Technical /Engineering Certificate.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both oral and written.
• Min 1-2 years experience in mechanical works and repair / site installation works.
• Independent, able to work under pressure & good interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel & work in shift.
• Experience in site works actiivities in oil & gas / petrochemicals /power plant is an added advantage.
• Knowledge & basic skills in computer for job report and documentation is an added advantage.
