Job summary

Syfon Systems Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily on-site construction activities in Malaysia. You will coordinate workers, subcontractors, materials, and equipment while ensuring safety compliance and project timelines, reporting to the Project Manager.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with AutoCAD and construction drawings. You must be willing to travel and have own transport.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Engineering (Civil), Architectural, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• At least 1–2 years of working experience in a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Familiar with construction drawings and the overall construction process.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to speak Mandarin to liaise with Chinese contractors (added advantage).
• Must possess own transport and be capable of handling multiple site assignments.
• Willing to travel outstation to Penang, Johor Bahru, Seremban and other locations across Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily site activities and report work progress to the Project Manager, including day-to-day management of workers, sub-contractors, machinery/equipment, and materials on site.
• Monitor the work of laborers and liaise with consultants/architects as directed by the Project Manager.
• Liaise with authorities, consultants, contractors, and other related parties.
• Update and maintain records of manpower attendance, materials, machinery/equipment, and other relevant information pertaining to construction site safety compliance.
• Report daily job progress of teams via Telegram.
• Ensure compliance with and enforcement of safety standards on site.
• Assist the office team with project claim documentation.
• Respond promptly to any emergency cases during on-call duty.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned from time to time by the Project Manager.

What we're looking for
