Syfon Systems Sdn Bhd is seeking a Sales Engineer based in Kuching & Sabah to drive sales across Malaysia and the broader Asian region. You will present technical solutions, generate leads, and manage tender submissions while coordinating with consultants, architects and engineers.

Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia are required, with Mandarin an advantage. The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma in Business, Engineering, or Architecture and 1–2 years in the construction sector, preferably

Qualifications

• Strong desire to work in a team environment and a passion for achieving targets.
• A degree or diploma in Business, Engineering, or Architecture is required.
• At least 1-2 years of working experience in the construction industry, preferably in sales or technical sales roles.
• Strong networking skills within the construction industry, familiarity with local consultants, architects, engineers, and quantity surveyors.
• Ability to read and understand general construction drawings.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and oral. (Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage.)
• Computer literate and proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Candidates must have their own transport and be willing to travel interstate and occasionally overseas.

Sales Engineer (Based in Kuching & Sabah)

We are seeking a Sales Engineer to drive our sales efforts and expand our market presence in Malaysia and the broader Asian region. The successful candidate will work closely with both direct and indirect customers, providing technical expertise and ensuring successful project delivery from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

Work towards achieving individual and group KPIs, such as meeting the group sales budget.

Provide product and technical presentations to both direct and indirect customers in Malaysia and across the Asian region, in a timely and professional manner.

Continuously generate new market leads, follow up on opportunities, specify products, tender, and secure projects.

Prepare quotations, design proposals, and other related documents at all stages of the project.

Prepare and update reports using MS Office and CRM software.

Travel interstate and overseas as required.

Carry out other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
