Job summary

HHR SETIA SDN. BHD. Negeri Sembilan is seeking a site supervisor to oversee daily Mechanical & Electrical works at the construction site.

You will monitor electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sanitary, HVAC and related services, read M&E drawings, coordinate with engineers and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety procedures.

• Job requires supervision of M&E works at a construction site.
• Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings, layouts and specifications.
• Responsible for coordinating with project team and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily mechanical and electrical works at the construction site.
• Monitor M&E installation including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sanitary, HVAC.
• Read and interpret M&E drawings, layouts and specifications.
• Ensure work meets project requirements and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, engineers and subcontractors.
• Report issues, delays or non-conforming materials promptly.
• Assist during testing and commissioning.

Job description

Supervise daily Mechanical & Electrical works at the construction site.

Monitor M&E installation works including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sanitary, HVAC and other building services works, where applicable.

Identify site issues, delays, clashes and technical problems and report them promptly to the Project Manager.

Read and interpret M&E drawings, layouts, schematics and specifications.

Supervise M&E subcontractors and workers to ensure work is carried out according to project requirements.

Monitor the quality of M&E installation works and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Report damaged, incorrect or non-approved materials to the relevant person.

Assist engineers, consultants and specialist contractors during testing and commissioning.

Ensure workers and subcontractors comply with company safety procedures and approved method statements.

Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Manager, M&E Engineers, consultants, subcontractors and other trades.

Communicate site instructions and technical requirements clearly to workers and subcontractors.
