Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a capable site professional to oversee construction and M&E works on site in Penang. You will report to the Project Manager, monitor progress, check quality, and ensure work complies with drawings and specifications.

You will lead on-site teams, coordinate with sub-contractors and consultants, and act as project representative in meetings with clients and agencies to keep the project on schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor works progress and check the quality of works done by sub-contractors.
• Supervise M&E and construction works on site and ensure work is done in accordance with construction drawings and specifications.
• Manage general and skilled workers in performing assigned tasks.
• Provide assistance to site problems and propose mitigation solutions.
• Conduct periodic checks on works and liaise with subcontractors and consultants to ensure high standards of quality and workmanship.
• Record and monitor all matters pertaining to construction activities and progress of work.
• Maintain responsibility for progress and productivity, identifying required corrective actions.
• Ensure all materials delivered to site are as per approved specification.
• Coordinate with all relevant parties on site matters to ensure project delivery as per schedule.
• Act as project representative during meetings with clients and relevant agencies.
