Qualifications

• 5–7 years of site supervision experience in architectural/building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and architectural specs in Malaysia.
• Proven experience coordinating subcontractors and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on site per drawings and timelines.
• Manage site personnel including labourers, tradespeople, and subcontractors.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
• Monitor health, safety, and environmental compliance.

About the role

C N H Construction (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor (Architectural) to join our construction team. This is a full-time position based in Bukit Jelutong, Selangor. As Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of architectural construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating all site activities, managing personnel, and maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and project specifications. This position is central to our operational success and directly impacts project delivery and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on site, ensuring work is completed in accordance with architectural drawings, specifications, and project timelines
• Manage and supervise site personnel, including labourers, tradespeople, and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and adherence to company standards
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings to ensure all team members understand project requirements and safety protocols
• Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance across the construction site, including hazard identification and incident reporting
• Inspect completed work to verify quality standards and identify any defects or deviations from specifications
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, material documentation, and equipment maintenance records
• Communicate with project management, architects, and clients regarding site progress, challenges, and any required modifications
• Manage site resources, including materials, equipment, and tools, ensuring efficient utilisation and proper storage
• Plan and coordinate site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment placement, and waste management
• Address site issues promptly, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions to maintain project momentum
• Conduct inductions for new site personnel and provide on-site training as required

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or similar supervisory role in architectural or building construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and architectural specifications relevant to Malaysia
• Proven experience in managing construction teams and coordinating subcontractors on site
• Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices in the construction industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with site personnel, management, and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure while maintaining high standards of work
• Physical capability to perform site inspections and work in challenging construction environments
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to site locations as required
• Relevant certifications such as OSHA training, First Aid, or construction safety certifications are advantageous
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with construction management software is preferred
