Job summary

ELSA in Malaysia seeks a Site Supervisor to oversee piling, building, civil and structural works, ensuring progress aligns with project schedules and site safety requirements. You will coordinate construction contractors and maintain daily supervisory records, ensuring safe working conditions and proper permit procedures.

Requirements include a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering, at least five years in Oil & Gas (onshore or offshore), CIDB registration, familiarity with P&ID

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or related certificate to the discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Oil & Gas industry (Onshore / Offshore Construction).
• Registered with CIDB.
• Familiar with P&ID and isometric drawing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate piling, building, civil & structural work.
• Direct site progress monitoring and ensure schedules are followed.
• Supervise and coordinate construction contractors with daily supervisory surveillance checks and records to ensure safe practices and proper permit procedures.
• Review contractor scope against drawings and specifications to ensure proper interpretation and compliance.

Job description

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction contractors and maintain daily supervisory surveillance checks and records ensure that contractors management and supervision are providing safe working conditions and permit procedures.
• Routinely study, check and review all contractor scope as detailed in drawings, specifications and instructions to ensure contractors proper interpretation and compliance with the lasted AFC drawings and specifications.
  

Contract Duration : 3 to 4 months

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or related certificate to the discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Oil & Gas industry (Onshore / Offshore Construction) and at least involvement in 2 oil & gas projects (Onshore / Offshore Construction)
• Registered with CIDB
• Familiar in various aspects of Onshore / Offshore Construction
• Familiar with P&ID and isometric drawing
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / Power Point)
• Good communication skill with contractor & direct labour
• Must have pre commissioning, commissioning and performance testing experience
• Familiar with modelling software e.g., Naviswork
