Job summary

Wantar Engineering & Constructions in Pasir Gudang, Johor, seeks a Site Supervisor with a Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical or Civil Engineering. You will coordinate site issues with consultants and subcontractors and supervise on-site activities.

You will supervise subcontractors and workers, attend meetings and inspections, inspect sites for compliance with drawings, and prepare daily site diaries and progress reports. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project site issues with consultants, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
• Coordinate on-site activities including supervising and monitoring resources (tools, materials, manpower, machinery).
• Supervise sub-contractors and general workers on work planning and progress.
• Attend meetings and inspections of the work.
• Inspect construction sites to ensure work aligns with drawings and instructions.
• Prepare daily site diaries and progress reports for the work.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Description:

• To coordinate of project site issues with consultant, subcontractor and other project relevant parties.
• To coordinate of site activities including supervising and monitoring their resource including tools, material, manpower and machinery at site.
• Supervise and manage sub-contractors and general workers on the work planning and progress.
• To attend meeting and inspection of the work.
• To inspect construction sites regularly to ensure work runs in accordance to drawing and instruction.
• To prepare any necessary reports such as daily site diary and progress report for the work.
• To perform other duties or tasks assign by superior from time to time.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must at least possess Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical and Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Possess good skill in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
• Good attitude with good communication and interpersonal skills.
