Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction, renovation, repair, and maintenance works at project sites. You will supervise workers and contractors, monitor progress, ensure quality and safety, and report progress to management.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of relevant experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in English and Malay. Willingness to travel to different project sites and work overtime when required is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in construction, renovation, maintenance, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of construction, renovation, repair, and site work.
• Good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, dynamic, responsible, and result-oriented.
• Proficiency in English and Malay.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction, renovation, repair, and maintenance works at project sites.
• Monitor workers and contractors to ensure work is carried out properly and according to the required specifications.
• Inspect completed and ongoing works to identify defects, workmanship issues, or areas requiring rectification.
• Coordinate and follow up on defect rectification, repair, renovation, and maintenance works.
• Monitor work progress and ensure tasks are completed within the required timeline.
• Ensure proper usage of construction materials, tools, and equipment at the site.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and workers regarding site activities and work requirements.
• Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure works meet the required standards.
• Ensure the site is properly organised, clean, and safe throughout the project.
• Report site progress, defects, issues, delays, and recommendations to management.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports when required.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior.
