Job summary

EMREKA GROUP SDN BHD is seeking a Site Supervisor with civil engineering background to oversee material handling, inspection, and on-site coordination in Malaysia. You will ensure works follow the approved programme, supervise subcontractors, maintain the site diary, and promptly report non-conformances to the Project/Construction Manager.

Fresh graduates are welcome, or candidates with 2+ years in construction.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Structure or equivalent.
• 2+ years in construction field or fresh graduate.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Carry out material receiving, handling and storage per SOP.
• Inspect works per Inspection and Test Plans.
• Ensure inspection and testing are performed and verified before progressing.
• Maintain site diary recording daily activities.
• Supervise and monitor plant & machinery usage.
• Prompt reporting of non-conformances to Project Manager / Construction Manager.
• Ensure on-site works follow the approved works programme by client / SO / Consultant.
• Attend subcontractor coordination, safety and technical meetings.
• Supervise and control subcontractors daily work activities.

Job description

Carry out all materials / product receiving, handling & storage in accordance with the SOP

Check and inspect works in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plans

Ensure all necessary inspection and testing are performed and verified / passed before proceeding to the next stage of construction or installation work

Maintain site diary to record daily activities at site

Supervise and monitor the usage of plant & machineries

Prompt reporting of any non-conformances to Project Manager / Construction Manager

Ensure all construction / installation at site follows / is based on the approved works programme by client / SO / Consultant

Attend sub-contractors coordination meetings, safety meetings and technical meetings as and when required

Supervise and control sub-contractors daily work activities

About you

Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Structure, or equivalent

Fresh graduate is welcome or atleast 2 years and above in construction field

MS Office, AutoCAD, Site knowledge

Strong leadership qualities

Driving license B2 / D

Willing to relocate and travel
