Job summary

Top Green Construction Development Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned site lead to manage day-to-day operations, ensure project schedule adherence and uphold quality standards on site.

You will plan and coordinate site teams, interpret drawings, monitor progress, enforce safety, and maintain meticulous site records while reporting to the project manager.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant construction industry experience with proven leadership.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, civil and structural drawings.
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, work sequencing, quality control and site safety requirements.
• Strong leadership, planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication in Chinese, English and Malay.
• Independent, responsible and able to manage multiple work activities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure construction works are completed according to the project schedule, approved specifications and quality standards.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor the work of site supervisors, subcontractors and workers to meet project targets.
• Coordinate with the project team on manpower, machinery, materials and site facilities to ensure efficient site operations.
• Review and interpret architectural, civil and structural drawings, identify discrepancies and coordinate with the project team to resolve technical and site issues.
• Inspect construction works, monitor progress and ensure defects are rectified promptly.
• Monitor subcontractors’ performance and report progress, delays and site issues to the project manager.
• Enforce site safety requirements and maintain good housekeeping.
• Guide junior site supervisors and maintain accurate site records, including daily reports and progress updates.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
