Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in site supervision or foreperson in construction.
• Proven track record delivering projects on schedule.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and project docs.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel.
• OSHA certification or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with construction management software is advantageous.

About the role

Coltium Builders S/B is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to join our construction team in Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time position based on-site, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and successful completion of our construction projects. As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site activities, managing teams, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity. This position is integral to delivering our projects on time, within budget, and to our clients' exacting specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring work progresses according to project schedules and specifications
• Manage and mentor site personnel, including labourers, tradespeople and other team members, fostering a positive and productive working environment
• Conduct daily toolbox briefings and ensure all staff understand their roles, responsibilities and safety requirements
• Monitor compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, and implement preventative measures to minimise workplace incidents
• Inspect workmanship and materials to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports and safety documentation
• Liaise with project managers, clients and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and coordination
• Manage site resources, including equipment, materials and personnel, to optimise efficiency and minimise waste
• Address site issues promptly and elevate concerns to management when necessary
• Ensure the site remains organised, clean and secure at all times

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 years' experience in a site supervision or foreperson role within the construction industry
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction teams and delivering projects on schedule
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, building codes, health and safety regulations, and quality standards
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and project documentation
• Competency in site administration, record-keeping and basic IT systems
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required
• Certification in occupational safety and health (OSHA) or equivalent qualification is preferred
• Experience with construction management software or tools is advantageous
