Job summary

Mirecont Sdn Bhd in Sarikei, Sarawak, is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of our construction site team. This full-time role focuses on implementing and monitoring safety protocols to mitigate risks and protect personnel on-site.

You will conduct inspections, provide safety training, investigate incidents, maintain records, and collaborate with project managers to develop effective safety plans while ensuring compliance with HSE regulations.

Qualifications

About the role

As a Site Safety Supervisor at Mirecont Sdn Bhd, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our construction site team in Sarikei, Sarawak. This full-time position is responsible for implementing and monitoring safety protocols to mitigate risks and protect our employees on-site.

What you\'ll be doing

• Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards
• Providing safety training and guidance to site personnel to promote a strong safety culture
• Investigating and documenting any incidents or accidents, and implementing corrective actions
• Maintaining accurate records of safety activities, training, and compliance
• Collaborating with project managers and the health and safety team to develop and implement effective safety plans
• Ensuring the site adheres to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

What we\'re looking for

• Proven experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or in a similar construction health and safety role
• Thorough understanding of construction health, safety and environmental regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse site personnel
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities to quickly address safety concerns
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to promote a culture of safety
• Relevant certifications in construction safety, such as IOSH or NEBOSH
