Job summary

Warran Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to oversee safety at our Klang Valley or Johor construction sites. The role ensures health, safety and environmental compliance across operations, with focus on implementing rigorous safety standards and protecting the workforce.

Ideal candidates have a DOSH qualification and 1–3 years of construction safety experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma/DOSH or equivalent certification in OSH.
• 1–3 years safety supervision experience in construction.
• Knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations including CIDB.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections across construction sites.
• Develop and update site safety plans and risk assessments.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety inductions.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join Warran Technology Sdn Bhd's job site at Klang Valley or Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, health and environmental compliance of our construction operations. As Site Safety Supervisor, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining rigorous safety standards across all construction activities, protecting our workforce and contributing to our reputation as a safety-focused organisation. This position is integral to our commitment to creating a safe working environment and minimising workplace incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting daily, weekly and monthly safety inspections and audits across construction sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Developing, implementing and updating comprehensive site-specific safety plans, methods statements and risk assessments in alignment with relevant legislation and industry best practices
• Delivering toolbox talks, safety inductions and training programme to construction personnel to promote safety awareness and competency
• Investigating workplace incidents, accidents and near-miss events to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventative actions
• Maintaining accurate safety documentation, including incident reports, accident records, hazard logs, inspection checklists and training registers
• Liaising with contractors, subcontractors and external safety authorities to ensure consistent adherence to health and safety standards
• Monitoring the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring compliance with site-specific safety procedures
• Identifying areas for safety improvement and recommending enhancements to prevent incidents and reduce workplace risks
• Reporting safety performance metrics and compliance status to site management and senior leadership
• Ensuring emergency procedures and evacuation protocols are in place, regularly tested and understood by all site personnel

What we're looking for

• Recognised qualifications in occupational health and safety, such as a Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) or equivalent professional certification
• Minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or similar health and safety role within the construction industry
• In-depth knowledge of Malaysian construction safety regulations, standards and best practices, including compliance with Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) requirements
• Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, hazard identification and developing effective safety management systems
• Strong communication and training skills with the ability to engage and educate construction personnel at all levels
• Excellent incident investigation and root cause analysis capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with safety management software
• Ability to work independently whilst also collaborating effectively with site management, contractors and external stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate safety documentation and records
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel between construction sites as required
• Preferred: Additional certifications such as First Aid, Fire Safety or Environmental Management qualifications would be advantageous
