Job summary

ZhongXiang Construction Sdn Bhd is a piling company seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to enforce safety measures at construction sites and lead safety initiatives. You will review procedures, compile reports, and conduct toolbox talks to promote health and safety awareness.

Qualified candidates hold a Diploma in Safety and Health approved by DOSH, with at least two years of relevant experience and knowledge of OSHA, DOSH and DOE guidelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Safety and Health approved by DOSH.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOE & DOSH regulations and procedures.
• Experience in writing safety reports and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist project team in implementing safety measures on site.
• Review and update safety and health checklists on site.
• Compile and update monthly safety and health reports.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and promote safety awareness on site.
• Ensure safety procurements comply with DOE, DOSH and local regulations.
• Correct unsafe acts/conditions by operation team.

Job description

To assist the project team in implementing safety measures procedure at construction site

Review and update safety and health checklist on site.

Compile and update monthly safety and health report

Conduct Toolbox Meeting Internal and promoting awareness at construction site.

Ensure safety procured are in accordance with DOE, DOSH, and PBT.

To correct any unsafe act / unsafe conditions performed by operation team.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma Certified in Safety and Health Course approved by DOSH.

At least 2 year of working experience in related field is required for this position.

In depth knowledge of legislation (eg OSHA, DOE & DOSH) and procedures

Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety

Registered OSH Office under DOSH is a pre-requisite.

Liaise with local authorities if needed

Must be self-oriented with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

With bored piling foundation experience is priority.
