Job summary

PEMBINAAN TAJRI SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Site Safety Supervisor to oversee safety and health on the Kulim project site. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, Project Engineer, SHO, and Site Supervisor to ensure safe working practices and compliance with applicable safety requirements.

The role requires a DOSH/JKKP-recognised SSS competency, OSH qualification, and prior construction site safety experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) competency/certificate recognised by DOSH/JKKP.
• Qualification in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
• Previous experience in construction or project site safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain safety and health documentation for project activities.
• Coordinate and conduct safety meetings, toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safe work procedures, safety standards and applicable regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential hazards, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
• Recommend and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure all personnel comply with project safety requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, Project Engineer, SHO and Site Supervisor on safety-related matters.
• Ensure safety requirements under the contract and project specifications are properly implemented.
• Prepare and maintain safety reports, records, checklists and other relevant documentation.
• Monitor compliance with Occupational Safety and Health requirements and project safety procedures.

About you
