MiTime Construction Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to ensure occupational safety and health compliance across construction projects. You will enforce safety regulations, conduct inspections, and develop HIRARC/JSA documents.

A Site Safety Supervisor role responsible for ensuring occupational safety and health compliance on construction sites. The role requires enforcement of safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, and management of safety documentation across construction, civil, infrastructure, electrical, hydropower, or TNB-related projects.
Key responsibilitiesConduct site safety inspections and prepare inspection reports
Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports
Develop and maintain HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control) and JSA/JHA documents
Conduct toolbox meetings and daily safety briefings
Manage Permit to Work (PTW) systems
Investigate and report accidents and incidents
Enforce PPE requirements and safety procedures
Prepare and maintain safety inspection checklists, incident reports, and training records
Communicate safety requirements to workers, supervisors, engineers, and management
Stop unsafe work and challenge unsafe practices when necessary
About youRelevant Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) qualification/certificate recognized by DOSH/JKKP
Registered or eligible to work as an SSS according to current Malaysian requirements
Construction, site safety experience, preferably 2–5 years or more
Experience in construction, civil, infrastructure, electrical, hydropower, or TNB-related projects is an advantage
Understanding of OSHA 1994 and applicable Malaysian occupational safety requirements
Knowledge of DOSH/JKKP requirements and site safety responsibilities
Knowledge of HIRARC, JSA/JHA, and safe work procedures
Knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) systems, toolbox meetings, and safety briefings
Knowledge of site safety inspections, accident/incident reporting and investigation, and Emergency Response Plan (ERP)
Knowledge of PPE requirements, working at height, scaffolding, ladders, excavation, trenching, lifting operations, electrical safety, machinery and construction equipment safety, hot work, confined-space safety, traffic management, and environmental controls
Good knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia; English is useful for documentation and communication
Able to communicate effectively with workers, supervisors, engineers, and management
Observant and able to identify hazards before incidents occur
Confident enough to stop unsafe work when necessary
Good at writing reports and maintaining documentation
Able to work independently
Willing to work at construction sites and follow project working hours
