Job summary

IKRAR JAYA BINA SDN BHD is seeking a Safety Officer to actively promote HSSE policies and support safety programs across Malaysia. You will lead toolbox talks, brief site personnel, and coordinate HSSE data reporting with the project leadership.

The role requires a DOSH Yellow Book, a minimum of 2 years in safety, and willingness to relocate anywhere in Malaysia to support multiple projects. ISO 9001 exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• MUST possess DOSH Yellow Book (minimum 2 years).
• Minimum 2 years experience in safety roles.
• Willing to relocate and work anywhere in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate active involvement and promotion of HSSE policies and Safety Plan & Program.
• Attend Daily Tool Box Meeting and brief site personnel on HSSE requirements.
• Liaise and report on safety, health and environmental issues with the HSSE Manager/Lead.
• Support project teams in safety meetings and HSSE statistics presentations.
• Assist with project inductions and general HSSE training programs.

Demonstrate active involvement and promotion of Project and Company HSSE policies and Safety Plan & Program;

Attend Daily Tool Box Meeting project. Explain, brief, and provide guidance to all site personnel in related to the HSSE in according to Project and company requirements.

Liaise and report on safety, health and environmental issues on a regular basis with the HSSE Manager/Lead

Support Project Team in the development of safety meeting agendas and presentation of HSSE statistics and safety alerts

Support project induction & general training program as required
