Job summary

Met T&S Ltd. is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to promote and maintain a safe working environment in line with health, safety, and environmental standards.

The role involves safety monitoring, training, audits, and close collaboration with project teams to prevent incidents and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.
• CIDB Green Card required.
• Experience on Petronas projects in Pengerang, Johor preferred.
• 10–12 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing daily & monthly HSE surveillance, inspections, auditing, programs, and reporting with proper documentation.
• Supervise and inspect daily work to ensure safe completion and compliance with procedures and regulations.
• Coordinate with related parties to ensure activities are conducted safely.
• Promote and implement HSE culture and company policies at the workplace.
• Provide HSE training such as daily toolbox talks and HSE campaigns.
• Implement approved HSE plans and programs at the workplace.
• Provide HSE reports to your supervisor and project team.
• Advise project teams on HSE issues and advise on unsafe acts/conditions.

Site Safety Supervisor responsible for promotingand maintaining a safe working environment by ensuring compliance withhealth, safety, and environmental standards, supporting site operationsthrough safety monitoring and inspections, conducting awareness and trainingactivities, and assisting in the prevention of workplace incidents and risks.

Duties and responsibilities

Assists to implement daily & monthly HSEsurveillance, inspection, monitoring, auditing, programs, and reporting withproper documentation.

Supervise and inspect dailywork at workplace to ensure completion of works with safe manners and complywith all procedures, guidelines, all governance, and regulatory requirements

To coordinate with allrelated parties and ensure activities carried out with safe manners.

To promote and implement HSECulture, company HSE policies at workplace.

To conduct and coordinatesufficient training to all related personnel such as daily TBT, HSE Campaignetc.

To implement approved HSEPlan and program at workplace.

To provide sufficient HSEreport to Superior

To advise project teamaccordingly on HSE issues at workplaces.

To observe and advise anyunsafe act and unsafe conditions and coordinate with project team.

To report and investigate(if required) any occupational incidents at workplace.

To identify, monitor andrecord on All HSE Violations on workplaces.

To respond in case of anyemergencies.

To ensure all HSE relatedinformation delivered to all working level.

To ensure all tools,machinery and equipment is inspected and fit to use prior to operate atworkplace.

Person Specification

Knowledge& Qualifications

University degree or diplomain relevant discipline or equivalent.

Experience

Candidate must possess avalid CIDB Green Card

Preferably with experienceworking on Petronas projects in Pengerang, Johor

A minimum of 10-12 years ofrelevant experience.
