Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks a Quantity Surveyor with 1–2 years of experience to oversee measurement and progress claims at project sites. You will attend meetings, monitor material usage, and ensure alignment with schedules and standards while supporting senior staff.

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu, with AutoCAD literacy, is preferred. Travel to project sites may be required to support multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.
• CIDB green card holder will be an added benefit.
• At least 1–2 years working experience in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Proficiency in English, Bahasa Melayu and computer literacy.
• Experience working with AutoCAD and validating quantities from layout/site drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform manual measurement of work done at site, ensuring accurate progress evaluations.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor material usage and ensure work aligns with project timeline and standards.
• Analyze workforce productivity to align with project schedules.
• Prepare and check progress claims with client.
• Attend meetings with clients, consultants and relevant stakeholders on project matters.
• Prepare outstanding progress claims and final claims based on site progress and quantity.
• Finalization of accounts with subcontractors and client.
• Assist and perform all tasks assigned by superior.

At least one to two years working experience in Quantity Surveying, similar position or related working experience

Good team player, self motivated, reliable, minimum supervision, good communication and interpersonal skills

Understanding site safety plan and safety activities operation flow

Proficiency in English, Bahasa melayu and Computer literate

Experience working with Autocad and validating quantities from layout/site drawings

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively

Strong analytical and problem solving skills with negotiation abilities

Other requirements - Required to travel outstation to project sites as needed
