Job summary

Evershine Stainless Steel Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to conduct site inspections, verify materials, and ensure fabrication and installation follow approved drawings and procedures.

You will maintain QA/QC records, liaise with contractors, and report defects or NCRs. The role is a 1-year contract based at sites around Selangor, including Semenyih, with 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or related field (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical preferred).
• Experience in QA/QC for construction or manufacturing projects.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with inspection and testing procedures.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work on site.
• Willing to work under site conditions and travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain QA/QC documents, inspection reports, and records.
• Liaise with main contractors, consultants, and site teams on quality matters.
• Identify defects and non-conformance (NCR), and follow up on rectification works.
• Check and verify materials before use to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
• Verify that fabrication and installation works follow approved drawings, method statements, and procedures.
