Job summary

ACGT Sdn Bhd, based at the AgTech Campus in Kulai, Johor, is seeking a Site Project Manager to lead greenhouse and related infrastructure projects. You will coordinate with Genting Property, consultants and internal teams to monitor progress, schedule, cost, quality and documentation, with an emphasis on timely risk escalation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Building Services or a related discipline.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in project coordination, site administration, construction management or client‑side project delivery.
• Experience coordinating consultants and contractors, monitoring construction programmes and resolving site issues.
• Strong project‑management, site‑coordination and programme‑monitoring capability.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules and technical reports.
• Good understanding of construction sequencing, quality, safety, commissioning and handover requirements.
• Strong problem‑solving, reporting, documentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace and project‑tracking tools; Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or equivalent is advantageous.
• Professional proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Professional proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is required due to regular coordination with CSV and other Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate project records, including meeting minutes, action logs, drawings, submissions, contracts, claims, variations and site records.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and dashboards covering milestones, delays, risks, quality and safety observations, decisions required and upcoming activities.
• Coordinate site meetings, contractor walks and technical reviews with Genting Property and appointed project parties.
• Maintain project schedules, milestones and dependencies, and monitor actual progress against the approved programme.
• Identify delays, critical risks and resource constraints early, and follow up on recovery and corrective actions.
• Track project expenditure, commitments and budget status with Finance and Procurement.
• Monitor site activities, workmanship and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Identify and escaland defects, technical issues, delays, quality concerns and unsafe conditions, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate SVA's participation in testing, commissioning, inspections and acceptance activities.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans for buildings, utilities, common facilities and infrastructure.

SVA is the operating platform for a premium fresh-produce joint venture between ACGT Sdn Bhd and CSV. Based at the AgTech Campus in Kulai, Johor, SVA is developing an integrated farm-to-market ecosystem supported by smart-farming technology, cultivation facilities, post-harvest infrastructure and campus amenities.

About the role

The Site Project Manager provides hands‑on coordination and site oversight for SVA's greenhouse, infrastructure and operational‑development projects. Working with Genting Property, consultants, contractors and internal teams, the role monitors project progress, schedule, cost, quality and documentation, while ensuring risks and bottlenecks are promptly escalated. Following project completion, the role will transition towards campus facilities, maintenance, landscape and asset upkeep.
