Job summary

Symmetry Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support project execution. Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering is required, with a preference for air-conditioning exposure. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and may work independently with leadership responsibilities.

The role involves liaising with clients and consultants, coordinating with purchasing for materials, and producing AutoCAD shop drawings to ensure project milestones are achieved.

Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience in air-conditioning field is preferred.

• Skills include Microsoft Office (Project) and AutoCAD; strong critical thinking and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients/consultants/sub-contractors to ensure smooth project operation.
• Coordinate with purchasing team for materials required for the project.
• Monitor project progress to meet deadlines.
• Attend site meetings with clients, sub-contractors, and consultants.
• Produce shop drawings using AutoCAD.

Job description

Possess Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant from recognized university.

Knowledge or experience in air-conditioning field is preferred.

Liaison with clients/ consultant / Sub- contractors to ensure smooth operation of the project.

Communicate with purchasing team for any item/ material required for project.

Monitor and ensure the project run smoothly and meets the target deadline.

Attend site meeting and progress meeting with client / sub-contractor/ consultant.

Able to work independently with leadership and management skills.

Required skills : Microsoft Office including Project, AutoCAD will be advantage, critical thinking and problem solving.

Able to produce shop drawing using AutoCAD.
