Total Solutions M & E Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, is seeking an experienced HVAC/Mechanical professional to join our project team. You will supervise on-site activities, coordinate workers, and ensure installation quality from drawings to handover.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years on-site HVAC experience, a Mechanical Engineering qualification, and strong leadership to manage budgets, reports, and safety compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of active on-site experience in HVAC or mechanical building services projects.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and vendor management skills.
• Working knowledge of OSHA / DOSH / CIDB requirements (Malaysia) is preferable.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities and manpower, assigning workers to ductwork, piping, insulation, and HVAC installation works.
• Read and interpret approved drawings and site layouts to ensure equipment, ducts, and pipes are installed at the correct locations.
• Monitor site materials and consumables, including pipes, insulation, brackets, supports, and fittings, and ensure sufficient materials are available for daily works.
• Conduct daily toolbox briefings and ensure workers comply with site safety requirements and properly use PPE.
• Coordinate with the main contractor to arrange scaffolding, working platforms, access, and other site facilities required for installation works.
• Carry out preliminary workmanship checks, including pipe welding, ductwork installation, supports, and hanging works, before arranging formal inspection.
• Monitor daily manpower and installation progress, and prepare daily site reports covering completed works, manpower, materials, and site issues.
• Report any site delays, material shortages, coordination issues, or workmanship concerns to the Site Engineer or Construction Manager for timely action.

Key Responsibility

Coordinate with the main contractor to arrange scaffolding, working platforms, access, and other site facilities required for installation works.

Carry out preliminary workmanship checks, including pipe welding, ductwork installation, supports, and hanging works, before arranging formal inspection with the Engineer or consultant.

Monitor daily manpower and installation progress, and prepare daily site reports covering completed works, manpower, materials, and site issues.

Report any site delays, material shortages, coordination issues, or workmanship concerns to the Site Engineer or Construction Manager for timely action.

Requirement

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or others related engineering.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of active on-site experience in HVAC or mechanical building services projects.

Employment Type: Contract

Strong hands-on knowledge of HVAC, air-conditioning, ventilation, and mechanical systems would be an added advantage

Working knowledge of OSHA / DOSH / CIDB requirements (Malaysia) is preferable.

Strong leadership, organizational, and vendor management skills.

Ability to manage budgets, reports, and compliance documentation.

Able to balance strategic planning with day-to-day HVAC operational needs.
