Job summary

Infinite M & E Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable professional to monitor project quality, plans, and cash flow, assisting the Project Manager from start-up through closeout. You will oversee resources and ensure client expectations are met while ensuring site works comply with drawings and schedules.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience, good English and MS Office skills, and knowledge of ISO 9001 is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of design and/or supervision in M&E building services.
• Good written and spoken English and MS Office skills.
• ISO 9001 knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project quality plan, work program and assist PM with cash flow and claims.
• Provide oversight of resources from start-up to closeout to meet owner expectations.
• Plan, coordinate, supervise and monitor site works and ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare quantities for variation orders and quotations.
• Ensure installation/maintenance work aligns with drawings, contracts and schedules.
• Attend site progress, coordination, safety meetings and inspections.
• Attend progress valuation with clients/consultants’ reps.
• Transition day-to-day project operations to PMs as work begins in field.
• Adhere to quotation and tender policies and maintain up-to-date documents.
• Coordinate with AUTOCAD drawings per client requirements.

Responsibilities

• To monitor project quality plan, work program and assist Project Manager in monitoring project cash flow and progressive claim preparation
• Provide oversight in managing all necessary resources throughout the entire project from start-up through closeout and ensure that owner’s expectation is met
• Plan, coordinate, supervise and monitor construction works at site & ensure site personnel following of company rules & regulations
• Prepare quantity for variation order works and quotation
• Ensure our installation, servicing and / or maintenance works are according to drawing contract specification and work schedule
• To attend site progress meeting, coordination meeting, safety meeting and site inspection
• To attend valuation of progress claim with client and / or consultants' representative
• Ensure that the day-to-day operations of projects are transitioned effectively to Project Managers when work commences in the field
• Adhere to quotation and tender management policies and practice in performing
• daily task
• Obtain necessaries and update documents to ensure availability of documents (e.g: pricing & technical data) for tender submission
• Prepare quotations & proposed drawing as per client’s requirements and standard operating procedures
• Responsible for on time delivery of all assigned tenders / quotation
• Keep pricing and other information regarding quotation and tender confidential
• Adhere AUTOCAD drawing as per client requirements

Requirements

• Candidate must at least process Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience in designing and/ or supervision of M&E Building service or relevant fields
• Good communication correspondence skills, Microsoft Office knowledge
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard is an added advantage
