Job summary

Freshtel Internet Sdn Bhd is seeking a Network Engineer in Malaysia to monitor network performance, troubleshoot outages, and schedule upgrades across wired and wireless systems. You will provide on-site support and assist the customer team to ensure reliable connectivity for residential and commercial customers.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma in Telecommunications, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• a) Monitoring the network performance, especially on the bandwidth utilization and power stability.
• b) Maximizes performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling upgrades.
• c) Acting proactively and responsibly in reporting and escalating any network performance issue to the management timely
• d) Install/maintain and support of network element including wired and wireless network component
• e) Supervise on site preparation work including civil mechanical electrical works.
• f) Providing technical assistance to the customer support team promptly.
• g) Handling escalated customers' complaints responsively and thoroughly until the issue is addressed.
• h) Pacifying unsatisfying subscribers with professionalism and respect whenever the Network Engineer is handling onsite support.

Diploma/SPM in Telecommunications/Engineering/Information Technology
