Job summary

Wuhan FiberHome International (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a capable Project Manager with a background in telecommunications infrastructure deployment to lead FTTH and related network projects. You will manage subcontractors, site teams, and project schedules while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires at least 3 years of PM experience, leadership and negotiation skills, and proficiency in MS Office and project tracking tools. Travel within the assigned region is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in telecommunications infrastructure deployment, including FTTH, GPON, DWDM, PTN, IPRAN, or other transmission and access network projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors, site teams, project schedules, and customer relationships.
• Strong knowledge of FTTH network deployment, transmission networks, and telecommunications project implementation processes.
• Good understanding of project planning, scheduling, risk management, quality control, and material management.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, perform under pressure, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and project tracking/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead telecom infrastructure projects from initiation to closure.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and customer stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and risk plans.
• Monitor quality and material management across projects.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
• Ensure compliance with TM standards where applicable.

Strong knowledge of FTTH network deployment, transmission networks, and telecommunications project implementation processes.

Good understanding of project planning, scheduling, risk management, quality control, and material management.

Strong leadership, communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently, perform under pressure, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and project tracking/reporting tools.

Possess a valid driving licence and be willing to travel frequently within the assigned region.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, or equivalent is an added advantage.

Hands‑on experience in Telekom Malaysia (TM) FTTH and/or Transmission Network rollout projects.

Familiarity with Telekom Malaysia standards, acceptance procedures, and quality requirements.

Experience in vendor, subcontractor, and stakeholder management.
