Job summary

Freshtel Internet Sdn Bhd is looking for a Network/Site Engineer to monitor network performance, troubleshoot outages, and schedule upgrades to maximise service quality for residential and commercial customers.

You will install, maintain and support network elements including wired and wireless components, supervise on-site civil, mechanical and electrical works, and provide timely technical assistance to the customer support team while addressing escalated customer concerns professionally.

Qualifications

• SPM / Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance, especially bandwidth utilization and power stability.
• Troubleshoot network problems and outages; schedule upgrades to maximise performance.
• Report and escalate network issues to management in a timely manner.
• Install, maintain and support network elements including wired and wireless components.
• Supervise on-site preparation work including civil, mechanical and electrical works.
• Provide technical assistance to the customer support team promptly.
• Handle escalated customer complaints responsively until issues are resolved.
• Maintain professionalism to pacify unsatisfied subscribers during onsite support.

Education

Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications/Engineering/Information Technology or related field
