Job summary

Verdant Solar is seeking enthusiastic interns to join our team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. You will take on real responsibilities spanning project coordination, site supervision, and system monitoring, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree and possess their own transport, with a willingness to travel for on-site support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related engineering fields.
• Possesses own transport, willing to travel for on-site support.
• Strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Project & Logistics Coordination: schedule project sites, warehouse, and maintenance, coordinating with Supply Chain for parts.
• Site Supervision & Field Support: oversee on-site visits, installations, and inspections; assist engineers.
• System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: monitor daily solar plant performance and assist with troubleshooting.
• Quality Assurance & Documentation: maintain high-quality standards and draft maintenance reports.
• Safety & Compliance: enforce safety guidelines and PPE usage.
• Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: act as on-site problem solver and drive operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Project & Logistics Coordination: Manage the scheduling of project sites, the warehouse, and customer maintenance appointments, while coordinating with Supply Chain for replacement parts.

• Site Supervision & Field Support: Oversee on-site visits and installations, assist engineers with inspections, check electrical components, and supervise cleaning.

• System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Track daily solar plant performance, provide hands-on assistance during corrective troubleshooting, and make good of solar troubleshooting issues.

• Quality Assurance & Documentation: Exhibit meticulous attention to detail to maintain high-quality standards, draft preventive maintenance reports, and compile documentation for insurance or warranty claims.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to company safety guidelines and safety protocols, and practice proper PPE usage during all operations.

• Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Act as a problem solver for issues that arise on site, support data organization, and champion operational enhancement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related engineering fields.

• Possesses own transport, is willing to travel for on-site support, and is willing to accept challenges as a great learning curve.

• Strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced team.
