Job summary

Suria & Sonne Sdn Bhd is seeking a campus-based project assistant in Sepang, Malaysia. You will support full-time supervision of PV system installation, liaise with sub-contractors and clients, and help manage deliveries and site-related tasks.

You will inspect electrical systems, attend inspections, and carry out daily activities per SOP while learning root-cause analysis and technical problem solving in renewable energy projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering field.
• Strong organisational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in procurement, supply chain, construction, or renewable energy is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing full time project supervision and reporting of PV system installation and handling of sub-contractors, clients, deliveries and other site-related matters.
• Assist in inspecting electrical systems, equipment and components.
• Attend T&C or inspection when required.
• Execute daily work activities as outlined in SOP.
• Assist with investigation of electrical issues including root cause analysis and problem solving at site or during design stage.
• Provide assistance to the Chief Operation Officer or Project Team in day-to-day technical operations.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES / KEY RESULT AREA

Project: To assist in providing full time project supervision & report of PV system installation, and handling of sub-contractors, clients, deliveries and other site related matters

Project: To assist in inspecting electrical system, equipment and components.

Project: To attend T&C or inspection when required.

Project: To execute daily work activities, as per outlined in the Standard Operating Procedure.

Project: To assist with investigation of electrical related issues including root cause analysis as needed and problem solving for technical issues at site or during design stage

Project: To provide assistance to the Chief Operation Officer or Project Team Members in day-to-day technical operations and any other tasks relevant to the job title.

REQUIREMENTS:

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering field.

Minimum internship duration of 4 months onwards.

Good organisational, communication, and negotiation skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Proactive, responsible, and willing to learn.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Interest in procurement, supply chain, construction, or renewable energy is an added advantage.
