Job summary

ELIZON CONSTRUCTION SDN. BHD. is seeking a Site Engineer (Civil) to oversee civil construction at project sites in Malaysia. The role requires reading drawings, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring works meet drawings, specs, and schedules.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 2–3 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates with internship experience may be considered. Willingness to travel to site is expected.

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in civil construction or site engineering.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship/site experience may be considered.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Familiar with site inspection, quality control, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed according to the project schedule.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor the quality of workmanship.
• Identify technical and site issues and coordinate with the relevant parties for resolution.
• Prepare and maintain site documentation, reports, inspection records, and progress reports.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and approvals with consultants and relevant parties.
• Monitor materials, manpower, equipment, and resources required for site activities.

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Site Engineer (Civil) to oversee and coordinate civil construction activities at the project site. The successful candidate will ensure that works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities at the project site.

Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members.

Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and technical specifications.

Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed according to the project schedule.

Conduct site inspections and monitor the quality of workmanship.

Identify technical and site issues and coordinate with the relevant parties for resolution.

Prepare and maintain site documentation, reports, inspection records, and progress reports.

About you

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Good knowledge of construction methods, civil engineering works, and site practices.

Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.

Familiar with site inspection, quality control, and construction documentation.

Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a project team.

Willing to work at project sites and travel when required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
