Job summary

Da Cheng Water Pipe Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a responsible and proactive Site Engineer to support day-to-day site operations for construction and water reticulation works. You will work with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with specifications.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and at least 5 years of relevant site experience. English and Bahasa Melayu proficiency are essential, with Mandarin an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of site engineering experience on construction projects.
• Willingness to travel to construction sites as required.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu; Mandarin an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing and coordinating site activities to ensure work progresses smoothly.
• Monitor construction works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers on daily site matters.
• Conduct site inspections, measurements, and progress monitoring.
• Assist in preparing daily reports, progress updates, and site documentation.
• Attend site meetings and assist in resolving technical or site-related issues.
• Ensure site safety practices and basic housekeeping are followed.
• Support the project team in achieving project timelines and requirements.
• Carry out other site-related duties as assigned by Management.

This role is open to candidates currently based in Malaysia only. Applications from outside Malaysia will not be considered.
