Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Site Engineer to join our project team in Kuala Lumpur. You will assist the project manager with work programmes, coordinate site activities, monitor progress and supervise on-site works to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, with preference for those with site experience. Knowledge of BIM, AutoCAD, Revit and MS Project is a plus; fresh graduates are welcome to apply and will be considered for entry-level

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or building related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• BIM modeling knowledge is an added advantage and will be prioritized.
• Experience in civil engineering/construction site is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read construction drawings.
• Adhere to Safety & Health procedures and requirements.
• Record and execute all aspects of contract administration for main and sub-contracts.
• Liaise with site personnel and sub-contractors to maximize productivity.
• Provide guidance on project issues and strategy, and input for reviews.
• Manage workload and coordinate with others to meet deadlines.
• Attend technical meetings with authorities and project team.
• Prepare and submit documents to local authorities.

We are seeking a Site Engineer to join our project team, to assist project manager to carry out work programme/schedule, to coordinate, monitor, supervise, record and plan site activity/works

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or building related field

Candidates with civil engineering / construction site experience will be prioritized

Knowledge of BIM modeling is an added advantage and will be prioritized

Responsibility

Need to be able to read construction drawings

To adhere to the Safety & Health procedures and requirements.

To record and execute all aspects of contract administration in connection with the main contract and sub-contract.

Liaise with site personnel and sub-contractors to maximize productivity

Provide advice to the site team about all project issues, project strategy, and provide input for reviews.

The ability to manage workload and co-ordinate with others to ensure deadlines are met.

To have good IT skills and a knowledge of MS Project or similar.

To attend technical meetings with local authorities, and the project team to coordinate design issues.

Prepare and submit required documents to the relevant local authorities

Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.

Knowledge of site documents - NCR, RFI, CVI, etc.

Knowledge of PAM form of contracts and JKR form of contracts.
