Job summary

Woon Brothers Construction Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru seeks a site engineer to support project progress reporting, site measurements for progress claims, and verification of subcontractors' measurements with accuracy.

You will coordinate with client representatives, subcontractors and site supervisors on quality assurance and progress monitoring, assist the project manager with scheduling, budgeting and delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction-related studies.
• Minimum 3 years of construction site working experience.
• Required skill(s): MS Office, MS Projects
• Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills
• Candidates fluent in Mandarin are preferred as the role requires the candidate to deal with Mandarin-speaking clients

Responsibilities

• Prepare project progress reports and site measurements for progress claim submissions.
• Verify subcontractors' site measurements for accurate claim submissions.
• Coordinate with client representatives, sub-contractor and site supervisor on quality assurance and project progress monitoring.
• Assist project manager in monitoring progress, project scheduling, budget time required to complete project.
• Coordinate resources with reference to PQP and monitor and adjust delivery schedule based on site conditions.
• Coordinate subcontractors/ project teams for workforce, material/ machineries allocation.
• Ensure material received fulfill to quality specification and quantity.
• Be responsible for site survey according to construction specification.
• Attend to all defects / complaints by SO/ customers.
• Attend all authorities and SO inspection.
• Monitor work quality using checklist and RFI.
• Be responsible for proper usage/ storage of machineries/ equipment/ materials.
