Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Site Engineer M&E to supervise and monitor all M&E site activities, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and project schedules.

You will maintain project documentation, conduct regular site inspections, manage QA/QC, and coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities to mitigate risks and keep projects on track.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all M&E site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and project schedules
• Maintain and update all project documentation, including work programmes, site progress reports, claims, variation orders, payment records, and contract-related documents
• Keep accurate daily site records, including work progress, manpower deployment, weather conditions, site issues, instructions from consultants or superintending officers, material deliveries, and any delays encountered
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure M&E installations meet quality standards and comply with QA/QC requirements
• Identify potential site hazards, technical issues, or construction risks, and propose practical mitigation measures
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities throughout all stages of the project
• Review tender documents, technical specifications, Bills of Quantities (BQ), shop drawings, coordination drawings, and other construction documents to identify discrepancies or conflicts, and promptly report them to the Project Manager or immediate superior
• Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements
• Attend site meetings, inspections, and coordination meetings as required
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations at the project site
