Job summary

Woh Hup Group in Malaysia is seeking a Site Supervisor to assist the Site Engineer and coordinate with sub-contractors and workers on site works. You will ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality requirements.

The role requires reviewing drawings, coordinating methods and sequencing, supervising progress and quality, maintaining safety, and helping with manpower and material logistics to keep the project on schedule.

Qualifications

• Education: Relevant qualification in Construction, Civil Engineering, Building, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Building and/or Civil Engineering projects.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications and site requirements.
• Strong coordination and communication with sub-contractors, workers, consultants and project team.
• Ability to monitor site progress and ensure work meets schedule and quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction site environment.

Responsibilities

• Check and study drawings before disseminating information to sub‑contractors and workers.
• Liaise with sub-contractors on work methods and sequencing.
• Coordinate and monitor progress, quality of workmanship and contract compliance.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety provisions at site working areas for sub-contractors and workers.
• Assist in manpower and resource scheduling and deployment, daily man‑hours returns and coordinate in all aspects of site issues.
• Co‑ordinate and monitor the availability and timely delivery of materials / equipment to complete the construction work within schedule.
• Supervise sub‑contractors’ work and ensure work done is in accordance with specifications and quality requirements.
• Adhere to safety practices in the workplace.
