Job summary

The Travel Store in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a capable Shop Manager to oversee daily store operations, drive sales targets, and lead a frontline team. This role demands hands-on leadership in a busy retail environment and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

You will ensure excellent customer service, manage inventory and staff rosters, and coordinate promotions to maximise store performance while maintaining safety and cash-handling accuracy. Strong travel retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily outlet operations and ensure smooth business activities.
• Achieve sales targets and monitor outlet performance.
• Lead,train, and motivate retail staff to deliver excellent service.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and handle customer feedback professionally.
• Monitor stock levels, inventory control, and product display arrangement.
• Manage cash handling, daily sales reports, and operational records.
• Ensure outlet cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company standards.
• Plan staff schedules, attendance, and manpower allocation.
• Conduct product training and coaching for team members.
• Analyse sales performance and propose improvement strategies.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively.
• Support company promotions, campaigns, and marketing activities.
• Oversee daily luggage repair operations and ensure efficient workflow.
• Train and guide staff on basic luggage repair handling and customer service procedures.
