Responsibilities

• Assist Operation Manager in overseeing store operation and retail team members.
• Manage outlet keys and ensure outlet open/close per business hours.
• Develop sales strategy and lead retail team to drive sales and achieve targets.
• Provide product and customer service training to retail team.
• Serve customers with best customer service standard.
• Ensure housekeeping is done daily.
• Plan and prepare monthly duty roster of retail team members.
• Prepare management reports monthly.
• Handle cashier duties: payments, cash/credit and vouchers.
• Ensure daily cash transit and bank-in.
• Monitor stock movement and report low stock to Merchandising.
• Record attendance and Cap Plan, SCORE.
• Manage loss prevention, security, CCTV, inventory checks.
• Assist in inventory records and stock takes.
• Coach junior staff and provide career development.

Job description

Assisting Operation Manager in overseeing store operation and retail team members.

Responsible for managing outlet keys and ensure the outlet is open and close according to the outlet business hours

Developing sales strategy and leading retail team members to drive sales and achieve sales target

Provide product and customer service training to retail team members regularly

Serve customers with the best customer service standard

Ensure housekeeping is done every day

Working closely with Operation Manager on store operations, manpower issue and provide improvement solutions if any, and provide constructive feedback

Ensure retail team members follow SOP as per according to Management and Retail Operations Department

Ensure outlet appearance is clean, presentable and all merchandise display follow Visual Merchandising guidelines

Monitoring stock movement and merchandise level in storeroom and raise to Merchandising team when there is insufficient stock

Monitoring and key in Cap Plan, SCORE and attendance

Ensure staff clock in and out for the day and fill in the staff movement record when staff leave the outlet during working hours.

Handle Loss Prevention & Security in the outlet including CCTV, inventory and spot-checking

Update budget for monthly and annually sales target

Plan and prepare monthly duty roster of retail team members

Prepare management report on a monthly basis

Doing cashier work including collecting payment (cash/ credit) from customer, tracking all cash and credit transactions, scanning products and ensure price is accurate and handling cash vouchers based on the available promotions.

Ensure cash transit has been done on a daily basis, i.e. the daily sales transaction in cash shall bank-in to the company account everyday.

Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.

Perform stock take activity for stores and responsible for stock loss occurred in store

Assist team with any other projects on an as-needed basis

Coach junior staff and provide career development plan for the staff.

Be resourceful in terms of capturing sales opportunities

Perform any ad-hoc action assigned by the Management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Malaysian who must be at least 18 years of age

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels

Enjoy talking to people and be at ease approaching customers and demonstrating our products

Able to work in shifts including Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays

A strong team player and able to work in fast-paced environment
