Rakanda is seeking a Shop Assistant to support the store manager on the shop floor, manage inventory and assist customers with finding products.

The role requires physical fitness, stamina, teamwork and a positive attitude, with shifts including weekends and public holidays. Fluency in Bahasa Melayu and English, basic computer literacy, and good interpersonal skills are essential for delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification.

The Shop Assistant will be responsible to assist the retail store manager with working the floor, managing inventory, and providing customer service. This position requires physical fitness and excellent stamina, good interpersonal and strong team spirit.

In this role, you will:

• Receiving, unpacking and arranging newly delivered stocks.
• Assisting customers in finding the products they're looking for.
• Addressing customer complaints and inquiries.
• Sharp, precise, and very careful in handling the job.
• Labelling and arranging goods on the display shelves.
• Hardworking and positive in all instruction given
• Responsible to retail selling.
