Job summary

Sanco Connecting Technology (Malaysia) SDN.BHD is seeking a Logistics/Shipping Coordinator to manage end-to-end shipping activities. You will prepare and verify documents, coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and brokers, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities include monitoring shipment status, assisting with customs declarations, and collaborating with warehouse, production, purchasing and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Preferably 1–3 years of working experience in shipping, logistics or import/export operations.
• Familiar with shipping documentation, customs clearance and import/export procedures in Malaysia.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding, transportation arrangements and shipment tracking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Good communication, coordination, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines and manage multiple shipments.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and willing to learn.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, delivery orders, bills of lading and other relevant documents.
• Coordinate import and export shipments with freight forwarders, shipping agents, customs brokers and transporters.
• Arrange delivery schedules, cargo collection and transportation to ensure on-time shipment and delivery.
• Monitor shipment status and update relevant departments on delivery progress or delays.
• Assist with customs declarations, permit applications and clearance procedures where applicable.
• Ensure shipping documents are complete, accurate and properly filed for record-keeping and audit purposes.
• Coordinate with the warehouse, production, purchasing and sales departments on shipment requirements. Verify shipping charges, freight invoices and related transportation costs.
• Follow up on shipment discrepancies, damaged goods, delays and other logistics issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements and applicable import/export regulations.
