Job summary

SJA Freight Services Sdn. Bhd. in Klang is seeking a detail-oriented logistics coordinator to manage customer bookings, amendments, cancellations, and shipment instructions accurately and promptly.

You will coordinate with shipping lines, co-loaders, hauliers, and agents to obtain shipment information and documents, prepare Bills of Lading and invoicing, and monitor progress to ensure timely execution. This role emphasizes compliance with customs, accurate billing, and proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer bookings, amendments, cancellations, and shipment instructions accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, co-loaders, and hauliers to obtain the necessary shipment information and supporting documents for smooth and timely execution.
• Coordinate import and export documentation, including preparation and verification of Bills of Lading (BLs), arrival notices, and other shipping documents.
• Declare and submit relevant Customs forms for import and export shipments in accordance with Customs requirements and applicable regulations.
• Ensure all bookings, declarations, and documentation comply with customer requirements, country-specific regulations, Customs procedures, and internal checklists.
• Verify shipping instructions, shipment details, and revenue information to ensure accurate documentation and billing.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices upon completion of shipments, ensuring charges are accurate and supported by relevant shipment records and documents.
• Monitor shipment progress and follow up with customers, shipping lines, co-loaders, hauliers, agents, and other relevant parties to ensure timely execution.
• Support operational requirements by ensuring all customer requests and shipment processes are executed accurately and within the required timelines.
