Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Logistics / Customer Service Officer (Freight Forwarding) to act as the primary liaison between clients, shipping lines, air carriers, hauliers, and customs brokers. You will provide end-to-end operational support for import/export shipments and ensure accurate documentation and top-tier customer service.

The role covers rate queries, tracking updates, booking space with carriers, preparing documentation, customs coordination, and billing.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of customer service or operations experience in Freight Forwarding/Logistics.
• Proficiency with CargoWise or Enterprise Logistics Systems and MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication; detail-oriented and resilient under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Single point of contact for rate queries, tracking updates, and resolving delays or claims.
• Shipment Execution: Booking sea/air/land space with carriers, hauliers, and co-loaders.
• Documentation & Customs: Preparing Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, commercial documents, and coordinating customs clearance.
• Operations & Billing: Tracking demurrage/detention, verifying vendor charges, and issuing accurate client invoices.
• Administrative tasks or projects as assigned by the Customer Service Supervisor or Management.
