is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented QC Engineer to oversee quality control activities and ensure compliance with quality standards, project specifications, approved procedures and regulatory requirements within the shipbuilding, ship repair and oil & gas industries. You will implement QC plans, inspect materials and workmanship, coordinate with project teams and clients, maintain quality records, address NCRs and support ISO 9001 compliance and

Qualifications

Must hold an engineering degree in a related field.
Experience in QC/QA in shipbuilding, ship repair, or oil & gas.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and inspection procedures.
Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

Oversee quality control activities per Quality Plans and ITPs.
Inspect materials, fabrication, welding, installation and repair for conformance.
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and clients on quality matters.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test records and quality dossiers.
Identify NCRs and drive corrective actions.
Assist with internal and external quality audits and close findings.
