Job summary

ASE Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a Shift Technician (Wirebond / AOI) open to fresh graduates to operate and maintain wire bonding machines and support AOI processes.

You will assist engineers on production line sustain, set up and troubleshoot wirebond and AOI equipment, and help resolve TBE issues, contributing to high-precision device assembly.

Qualifications

• Experience in Wirebond process and able to perform troubleshooting, set-up, conversion and recipe creation.
• Experience in TBE and AOI process and able to understand on assembly defect criteria.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, convert, run and monitor wirebond machine.
• Follow work instruction for wirebond process.
• Perform downtime repair and troubleshooting for wirebond machine.
• Support engineering and NPI.
• Support engineer for any TBE issue including any major down related to AOI machine, strapping machine, oven and packing machine.

Wirebond technician main responsibilities revolves around operating and maintaining wire bonding machines and ensuring high-precision connections. These connections are critical for devices like integrated circuits, sensors, and microchips to function properly.

Assist engineers in production line sustain, AOI machine troubleshoot, AOI recipe setup and support TBE related issues.

Primary Responsibilities:

Set-up, convert, run and monitor wirebond machine

Follow work instruction for wirebond process

Perform downtime repair and troubleshooting for wirebond machine

Support engineering and NPI
