Job summary

ASE Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, seeks a Shift Technician open to fresh graduates to support production lines and ensure timely maintenance.

You will assist in routine maintenance, fault diagnosis, safety compliance, and documentation, with training provided and collaboration with engineers to keep processes running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Certificate with 2 yrs experience in semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or software issues.
• Replace or repair faulty components and wiring.
• Install and configure new equipment and systems according to specifications.
• Ensure installations comply with safety standards and operational guidelines.
• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to assess problems and implement solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Prepare reports on equipment status and repair activities.
• Conduct inspections and tests to ensure equipment and systems are functioning.
• Implement quality control measures to prevent future issues.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients or internal teams.
• Assist in training users on proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Assist engineer for technical and troubleshooting machine on engineering product.
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time
