Golden Scoop Sdn Bhd, the Baskin Robbins sole franchisee in Malaysia, seeks an Operations Manager to lead store teams, implement programs, and drive customer satisfaction. The role focuses on achieving operational targets, training staff, and maintaining service quality across outlets in Malaysia.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in operations management in F&B or retail, strong leadership, and a talent for adapting to change while delivering consistent results.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in operations management in F&B, food service, or retail.
• Diploma/SKM in F&B or related required or acceptable to apply.
• Relentless focus on customer and delivering the right experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork across colleagues and departments.

Responsibilities

• Set goals for the work group and develop organizational capability.
• Drive customer-first service by training partners and holding staff accountable.
• Develop action plans and motivate the store team to meet operational objectives.
• Monitor staffing levels and talent acquisition to meet store needs.
• Control costs of goods and labor and minimize product damages per Finance guidelines.
• Enforce cash handling, safety, and security policies for all shifts.
• Check bank-in reports and ensure daily sales are banked on time.
• Resolve sales and operations issues promptly and effectively.
• Conduct risk reviews on food safety, SOPs, and health risks.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.

Job description

Setting goals for the work group, developing organizational capability, and modelling how work together.

Displays a customer come first attitude by training and holding partners accountable for delivering legendary customer service.

Drive the implementation of company programs by developing action plans and directly motivating and instructing the store team to implement them to meet operational and organizational objectives.

Manages with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of BR.

Monitor and manages store staffing levels to ensure partner development and talent acquisition to achieve and maintain store operational requirement.

Utilizes existing tools to identify and prioritizes communication and regularly uses discretion to filter communication to the store team.

Responsible to maintain good and profitable Cost of Goods, labor cost and controlling product damages according to guideline by Finance department.

Executes store operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security to ensure the safety of all team member during each shift.

Follow all cash management and cash register policies and ensure proper cash management practices are followed by shift team.

Check bank-in reports of outlets to ensure daily sales takings are banked in on time.

Resolve sales and operations issues in an effective and timely manner.

Conduct ROR (Review of Operations Risks) on food safety, SOPs, product quality and health risks to ensure compliance to required standards.

Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

REQUIREMENTS:

1 year of experience in operations management in F&B, the food service industry, or retail.

Fresh graduates with a diploma/SKM (such as F&B, culinary, food safety, hospitality, communication business administration, or its equivalent) can apply.
